I’ve spent years working with creative tools, and I know how tedious it can be to get everything just right. So when I saw a new video from this AI professional breaking down the latest updates from Adobe MAX, I was absolutely floored. It looks like a lot of our biggest headaches are about to disappear.
The creator kicked things off with the huge announcements from Adobe. They’re not just dipping their toes in AI; they’re going all-in, and it’s a game-changer for creators.
✨ Adobe’s New AI Superpowers
Right out of the gate, the YouTuber showcased Adobe’s new generative video model, Firefly Video. You can type a prompt and get a pretty decent video clip. But what’s available right now in Premiere Pro (beta) is Generative Extend. Imagine you have a clip that’s just a second or two too short. This tool uses AI to stretch the footage, seamlessly filling the gap. I can already think of a dozen times this would have saved me!
Photoshop and Lightroom are getting supercharged, too. The expert highlighted a new “Find Distractions” button in Photoshop that can automatically remove things like wires or unwanted people in the background with a single click. It’s wild.
🤯 The Mind-Blowing ‘Sneak Peeks’
This is where my jaw really hit the floor. The creator shared some of Adobe’s experimental projects, and they feel like pure sci-fi.
📌 Project Perfect Blend: This tool is insane. The person who shared it demonstrated taking separate photos of people and a cat, all with different lighting, and placing them into a new scene.
With one click of a “Harmonize” button, the tool relit everyone to match the new background and even added realistic shadows. It made everything look like one cohesive image.
🔊 Project Supersonic: This is for all the video editors out there. The expert showed how you can give it a video clip (like a spaceship taking off) and a text prompt (“spaceship taking off”), and it generates perfectly synced, high-quality sound effects.
It can even use your voice as a guide to create audio, matching the timing and energy.
🔄 Project Turntable: This was the coolest thing I saw. The mind behind it showed a 2D vector drawing of a warrior. Normally, you can’t see the back of a 2D image.
But with this tool, they were able to rotate the 2D character in full 3D space, as if it was a 3D model. It just *figures out* what the character looks like from every angle.
This is going to be massive for animators!
🚀 More Awesome AI Updates
The video didn’t stop there. This industry pro also covered a bunch of other incredible tool updates:
- Kyber Superstudio: A new visual workspace that combines Luma Dream Machine, Flux, and Kyber’s own models into a slick, node-based canvas for creating AI images and videos.
- Krea AI: This platform now integrates almost every major AI video model (Luma, Runway, Pika, Cling, etc.) into one single interface. No more jumping between different tools!
- Suno Scenes: The AI music generator Suno now lets you create a song from an image or video clip. The creator took a picture of his desk, and Suno generated a song about a “camera and screen in a dance.”
- HeyGen Interactive Avatars: This innovator covered a tool that lets you create an AI version of yourself that can attend Zoom meetings for you, trained on your voice, face, and knowledge.
This week was packed with so many breakthroughs, especially from Adobe. It feels like we’re hitting another major surge in what’s possible with AI creativity.
