Ready to speed things up? The creator shared some incredible tips to make your ChatGPT experience so much smoother.
- 🤫 Temporary Chat: Ever wish you had an incognito mode? Just go to the model list and click “Temporary Chat.” Your conversation won’t be saved to your history or used for training. I love this for one-off questions that would just clutter my sidebar.
- 🔎 Quick Search: Can’t find an old chat? Forget scrolling. Just hit Command + K (Mac) or Control + K (Windows) to search all your past conversations instantly. It’s a lifesaver.
- ⌨️ Keyboard Shortcuts: The YouTuber pointed out that hitting Command + / (or Control + /) pulls up a full list of shortcuts. My favorites that he mentioned are Command + Shift + C to copy the last response and Command + Shift + S to hide the sidebar for a clean interface.
- 🗄️ Archive Chats: Instead of deleting a chat forever, you can archive it. It cleans up your history but keeps the chat accessible if you search for it later. You can find your archived chats in the settings.

- ✍️ Custom Instructions: Tired of ChatGPT’s constant apologies and disclaimers? Use Custom Instructions to tell it how you want it to respond across all chats. The expert suggests asking it to be concise, not to apologize, and to assume you’re aware of general precautions. So smart!
- 🧠 Manage Its Memory: ChatGPT remembers things you tell it. You can see and edit this by going to Settings > Personalization > Memory. It’s super helpful to clear out old, irrelevant facts it’s picked up. You can also explicitly tell it, “Remember this,” during a chat to add important info.
- 📢 Summon GPTs: This is one of my favorite tips from the video. In any chat, you can type @ and select one of your custom GPTs to use its specific knowledge for a single prompt, without leaving your current conversation. The creator showed how he used his “Coloring Book Page Generator” GPT in a random chat, and it worked perfectly.
🚀 The Advanced Stuff You’ve Probably Missed
This innovator walked through some of the newest and most powerful features that blew me away.
- 📌 Image Upscaling: You can actually enhance and upscale images! The creator explained that you can’t just ask it to make an image better: you have to tell it to use its code interpreter. He shared this magic prompt:

- 📌 Data Analysis: Forget standalone tools. The YouTuber demonstrated how you can upload spreadsheets right into ChatGPT and ask it to analyze data, find trends, and even create visualizations like bar charts, pie charts, and scatter plots. It’s incredibly powerful.
- 📌 Projects: This is a feature I think is a huge deal. The expert explained that Projects lets you create a dedicated space with its own set of files and instructions. This keeps context consistent across multiple chats for a specific workflow, like scripting videos. It’s way better than custom GPTs for complex, ongoing tasks.
- 📌 Advanced Reasoning Prompt: To show the sheer power of the latest models, this industry pro shared an incredible prompt to unlock its deepest insights. I tried this myself, and the results were wild. You have to try this one:
