Stuck with those super-short AI video clips? It’s the worst. You finally nail a prompt, and the clip ends before the good part even starts. 😤
Well, I just saw an incredible post from Tianyu Xu that completely changes the game. He’s figured out a way to create AI videos of basically unlimited length!
It all comes down to a new feature in Kling v2.1 that lets you set a start AND an end frame for your video.
⚙️ Here’s the brilliant hack Tianyu Xu shared:
- Create Clip #1: Generate your first video using Image A as the start frame and Image B as the end frame.
- Chain the Clips: Now, take Image B (the last frame of your first video) and use it as the start frame for your next video. Generate a new clip that ends with Image C.
- Repeat! Just keep going. {A → B}, then {B → C}, then {C → D}… You can stitch together a continuous shot for as long as you want!
💡 Bonus Tip from Tianyu Xu: You can even make perfect looping videos this way. Just make your final end frame the same as your very first start frame! {A → B → C → A}.
⚠️ A Quick Reality Check
Tianyu Xu points out it’s not flawless just yet. The speed and movement can be a little inconsistent between the stitched clips, so you might need to do some editing.
But his best advice? Remember our attention spans are shorter than a goldfish’s (literally 8 seconds). Long, single shots rarely work on social media anyway.
So use this technique to generate your scenes, but stay flexible. Cut often and edit freely.
This is a massive unlock for anyone creating stories with AI video. For all the details, you have to read Tianyu Xu’s original post!
