Ever spent days doing tedious, repetitive research? You know, the kind where you’re copying and pasting URLs and follower counts until your eyes glaze over. I’ve been there, and it’s a total drag.
Well, I just stumbled upon an insane post from Tianyu Xu that shows how to obliterate that kind of work. He tested a new feature in Manus AI called ‘Wide Research,’ which lets an AI agent run up to 20 research tasks at the same time. I think this is a game-changer.
Here’s the ridiculously simple experiment Tianyu ran:
- 📌 The Goal: Find the official social media accounts (X, LinkedIn, FB, etc.) for a list of 100 different AI companies and leaders.
- 📌 The Task: For a social media tracker he’s building, he needed the URL, username, and follower count for each one.
- 📌 The Prompt: He literally gave the AI ONE single prompt with the list of 100 entities and told it what to find.
The result? The agent just went to work, processing 20 entities at a time, and finished the whole job in a short wait.
Tianyu estimates it saved him 95% of his time!
He rightly points out that you still need a quick human check at the end, but come on, slashing days of work down to minutes is unreal.
This is exactly the kind of smart automation that sets you free to do more important stuff. 🤯
You HAVE to see this in action. Go check out Tianyu Xu’s original post for the full video and all the details!
