Shop Your AI Art: A Gemini & Google Lens Workflow

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve seen the perfect desk or chair in an AI-generated image and wished I could just buy it. Super frustrating, right?

Well, I just saw a post from a LinkedIn creator that completely solves this. The expert shared a workflow that is so simple it’s brilliant.

Here’s the 3-step process the author uses to go from a generated image to actually purchasing an item:

  1. 🚀 Step 1: Generate the Image
The original poster starts in Midjourney, creating an image with the desired piece of furniture in it.
  2. ✨ Step 2: Extract the Item
This is the magic. The expert then uses the new “nano-banana” model in Gemini to perfectly isolate and extract just the piece of furniture from the larger AI image.
  3. 🛒 Step 3: Find & Buy
With that clean, isolated image, the author pops it into Google Lens for a reverse image search, which finds the real-world product online.

I think this is an absolute game-changer. The ability to precisely lift an object out of a generated scene and find its real-world twin is just wild. The creator said the new Gemini model is “nuts,” and I totally agree.

This is just my quick breakdown, check out the full post from the expert for all the details!
